Very long beach with several coves located south of Milos beach. The beach can be reached from

both ends. To reach the northern end turn off from the way between Aghios Nikitas and Kalamitsi. The

signpost reads "Kathisma beach". The main beach is textile with a taverna at each end. Park at the

southern taverna (Akroyiali), where you will be able to shower on your return, Walk past a low rocky

headland and you reach the nudist part. It is best to walk along the shore line as the path at the back of

the beach is crumbling away in parts and is becoming dangerous.

Driving to Egremni takes you through a very narrow and steep road. At some point you reach the end

of driving, which is really a spot where the mountain has been bulldozed by someone to make a parking

lot or two. You can park on the side of the road right before the parking lot for free, but this means

another two hundred meters uphill when you are leaving the beach. Once you park, to reach the beach

you have to climb down a few hundred makeshift steps and at the end you have to balance on a *very*

shaky wooden structure (pictured here). Amazingly enough there is a cantina before you reach the

bottom, and another one at the beach so you can buy some water for the journey. You will definitely

need some water before you head up to your car at the end of the day.

The best way to get there is by water taxi from Vasiliki. The water taxis return in the afternoon to

pick up bathers, although one of the days we were there the large waves prevented the water taxi from

approaching, so most bathers had to walk for about 45 minutes back to town. So take your walking

shoes along just in case.

Porto katsiki is cut into two parts and big rocks cut those beaches. The southern part behind the

rocks is nude. If you find the taverna its easy to find both beaches .

Located just over the hill south of Aghios Nikitas village, this beach is together with Egremni

absolutely the best nudist beach on Lefkas. The sand is excellent although composed of fairly

sizeable grains, and there is sand also on the sea bed. The setting is beautiful and the beach is large.

The beach can also be reached by 2 taxi boats, the "Express Milos" taking only 3 mins from

Aghios Nikitas .

The second (slower) boat carries on to visit the north end of Kathisma Beach. There are no

umbrellas . To find easier the beach , follow the road near 2 buildings (taverna and bar) on the side

of the hill over looking the beach
