Reach it by turning left up the main street in Livadi or climb over the headland

which rises from the ferry port. Livadakia is a huge sandy beach fringed with

tamarisk trees and well served with bars, tavernas and various watersports.

Coralli Camping, 20 metres back from the beach, has a lively daytime and night

scene centred around the buzzing Heaven Pool Bar.

The beach gets quite busy in high season so if it's peace and quiet you're after

(and the chance to cast off your swimming costume) walk another five minutes or

so south over the headland to Karavi Beach. There are no tourist facilities here

but nudism is allowed.
